Students Grievance Redressal Cell

           A mechanism for the redressal of the students’ grievances is now functioning in the college. Grievances related to union activities and other allied non academic matters will be sorted out at the primary level by the staff advisers to the college union. Grievances pertaining to academic matters will be taken up by the teachers concerned. Grievances if any will be further heard by the respective Head of the Department. At the appellate level, all the unresolved issues will be redressed by the Principal in consultation with the college council and the Bursar. There is a separate grievance redressal mechanism for internal evaluation.

        The grievances of the members of various departments including teachers and assistants of laboratories and library will be resolved at the primary level by a committee consisting of the Head and the next senior most member of the Department concerned. The grievances of other members of the non-teaching staff will be heard and decided by a committee consisting of the Senior Superintendent and Head Accountant. In both the above cases, the unresolved issues will be further looked into by a committee consisting of the Principal and the Bursar. Matters still pending and matters in which the Principal or the Bursar or both, are parties, will be finally heard and decided by an appellate tribunal duly constituted by the Governing Body.
