1. |
National loan scholarship |
| NLS is given to Indian nationals for the courses after matriculation or SSLC leading to the first degree. Those with 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination are eligible. The income limit is Rs.25,000/-. There is no income limit for the PG students. Undergraduate students who set scholarship/stipend under any of the schemes are not eligible. The form of application may be obtained from the DCE Trivandrum on payment of Rs.2/-. | |

National Merit Scholarship |
| This scholarship is awarded strictly on the basis of merit. If the income exceeds Rs.25,000/- per annum, a certificate of merit and a national prize of Rs.100/-will be awarded. | |

National Merit Scholarship for the Children of Primary and Secondary School Teachers. |
| These scholarships will be awarded to the children of serving teachers only according to merit and availability. | |

4. |
Scholarship to physically Handicapped Students |
| The candidates should secure at least 40% marks at the previous annual examinations and whose parents’ annual examination. The income should not exceed Rs.24,000/-per annum. | |

5. |
State scholarships |
| Students who have secured not less than 60% marks for the qualifying examinations and whose parents’ annual income does not exceed Rs.7,500/-, Rs.10,000/-, Rs.12,000/- for the pre-degree, Degree and PG courses respectively are eligible to apply. | |

University Merit Scholarship |
| Awarded by the university strictly on merit basis, subject wise. | |

Travancore Temple Entry Proclamation Memorial Scholarship only for SC/St students who have secured first class for SSLC. |
